Received the only $0.01 bid but winner does not pay

If a bidder and a winner does not pay $0.01 for an item they won (without any competition from other bidders) then there's something wrong with e—bay, the bidder or the economy, or all of those together. Perhaps e—bay is blocking the buyer from paying for the item since it happens a lot to me on the rather incompetent e—bay. My listing clearly states that I ship to all countries by Registered mail fully insured and the shipping cost is $10. Yet e—bay only allows me to ship to the US. $10 is what it costs with shipping and handling, insurance and e—bays fees. The winning bidder got it almost for free ($0.01). Did not pay for 2 days yet, but it is possible they will still pay for it. Obviously I would like to collect more seller feedback so that I can be able to ship to other countries, as I was explained by other members on this forum, and not only to the United States of America.

I would take the advice of @dbfolks166mt  and set your payment preferences to requiring a payment method from the buyer.  Perhaps you should consider a buy it now fixed price as well...I realize what you sell may have some value as an auction, but it's just a suggestion.

eBay allows buyers 4 days to pay. After the 4th day has passed you can cancel the transaction reason buyer didn't pay.
The buyer will get an unpaid item strike, you recover any final value fees so you can relist.

when the buyer gets 2 unpaid item strikes in 12 months they are blocked from bidding and buying.

If a bidder and a winner does not pay $0.01 for an item they won

The buyer was required to pay $10.01, not $0.01.

And eBay allows buyers 4 days to pay, so 2 days is too early to complain.

That aside ...

then there's something wrong with e—bay, the bidder or the economy, or all of those together.
The "something wrong" could be as simple as inattention, a vacation, an illness, a storm, an internet outage, or it could be that the buyer simply changed his mind and does not want it.

While your bit was cheap at $.01 the shipping shows $10 which the buyer may or may not have noticed when they placed the bid. It is a waste of your time to post low cost items there is minimal profit margin in doing so. You may want to consider bundling like items which may attract more bidders and not increase the shipping cost all that much if any.

Also in your account settings you can turn on the auto-pay feature which is similar to Immediate Payment Required for BIN items. In your account settings under selling preferences edit Managing Who Can Buy From You and check the following two boxes near the bottom. Of course there are trade offs when you enable this function.

Thank you. Immediate Payment Required is always turned on in my listings. That's why I am "worried". Remember, it's only a test. I am sure the buyer will pay for it. If I sell an item for $0.01 there is no profit margin. It is only a loss. Even when I am paid $10.01, it's still a loss, since Registered mail, insurance, e—bay fees, packaging etc. cost $10 or more. And I am giving it away to receive the necessary points to be able to ship to other countries. Bidder is responsible as an adult to look shipping costs up etc. before bidding. There is no excuse. Unless e—bay system is failing or blocking the buyer from paying, which seems to happen a lot and I experienced that on my own skin. I'm just testing, it's a consumer experience test,  a seller experience test. I want to see how it feels to sell on e—bust.

I have got NO seller payouts yet and they have already sent me this message:

"Your seller payouts are on hold and some services are blocked—update your account and do more with eBust"

As if they are doing me a favour...

The buyer has just paid for it. Remember this is just a test, so i am not complaining. It's a test and I am testing how it all works and discussing things up front. Many eBusters worship their idol venue, but I am not. Since it's a loss for me and driving 25 km to post office will cost about $3 in combustibles, I want to ship it on Monday once I go grocery shopping. Will that be too late for eBust?

If e—bay selling works out fine, I may consider listing more items on its wing, but never quit other venues or especially a store of my own. What I am doing is my first 10 sales on e—bay must start with $0.01. It's a test and an intro and an almost a give-away. I wish I could do free shipping, but then it will cost me significant money if I sell for a loss of $0.01 and even if I send by AIR MAIL (at a cost of over $3 still) and some buyers may call it a INR. So I must send by REGISTERED MAIL even if sending Registered Mail to the United States means a potential and a frequent trouble. Why? Look up "NIXIE" online. And look up  "treatment inbound registered mail into the United States". And look up "loss and theft of inbound registered mail" in the US, one of my favourite countries, and police reports on skyrocketing mail theft and even truck robberies at USPS. That's why now for serious orders I make buyers pay €45 (at bare cost) for fully insured "parcel". That's for US, Canada and Australia, because these three countries do not insure their registered mail above the $45 indemnity. Thus orders above $49 pay €45 or $50 for fully insured parcel delivery or UPS at around $75 and that works out wonderfully for the customer. Now if one received mail by Normal Mail (air mail, no tracking) at a cost of $3 to $5 in 99.99% case they receive their order and are extremely happy, but larger orders can't be risked to send that way and must pay €45 to fully insure. When you order €200-€300-€1000 etc. you don't mind paying €45 for full insurance and those parcels arrive faster than Registered mail since they keep the postal services happy with all this extra money.

That would depend on what Handling Time you used when making the listing. If the handling time was 2 days or more then shipping on Monday would be ok for eBay. If you have 1 day handling them it needs to be shipped on Friday.

Handling time only includes weekdays, Sat/Sun don't count.

If eBay only allowed you to ship to the US than than it's unlikely that your listings would be allowed to show as shipping worldwide.   I realize that you were told that you had to meet certain criteria in order to sell outside of the US but it doesn't appear that it is a factor in your case.

Your domain listings are set up so that only buyers in the US will see them. Your banknote listings show that you ship worldwide.

Thank you. E—bay does not seem to set up to handle sales of domain names well. I now created international shipping for the domains and both US and intl. shipping received he following setting:

Buyer pays flat shipping

You decide the cost.

Hopefully the listings will now be seen internationally.

P.S. For some reason e—bay excludes some peaceful island countries (such as Reunion (France)) from "shipping" the domains to:

Shipping and handling

Item location:
Lansing, Michigan, United States
Ships to:
Worldwide
Excludes:
Barbados, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Guadeloupe, Libya, Martinique, New Caledonia, Reunion, Russian Federation, Ukraine, Venezuela

I was unable to find a single feedback for you as a seller.

No offense, but I do not know anyone who would buy what you are currently selling.

I wasn't selling on fleabay for a couple decades, that's why. They don't sell it that cheap, that's why. I am too honest and too professional, so no match for fleabay. You can't be cheaper than $0.01 at no-competition-ebay.

You sound the exact opposite of honest and professional.

"Fleabay"?   With that sort of attitude, you're unlikely to do well here.
