I’m selling an item, and received an offer with a message. I am inclined to accept the offer, but the message is asking for something more than what I am offering. For instance, an item with 2 accessories, and the message is requesting 4 accessories. If I accept the offer, am I obliged to fulfill the message request as well?

Usually a scam. How are they contacting you?

I am receiving a real eBay offer and the request comes in a message attached to the offer. I have nothing additional to sell. To include what is requested would make the transaction not worthwhile.

That is why it is a scam.
Delete the email.
Put that Buyer on your Blocked Buyer List.

Ignore them, and add them to your BBL

You are not bound by any offer sent to you.
IT IS A SCAM.
Delete the email. Add Buyer to your BBL.

Don't do it...
If you were to accept the offer and send the item, the next thing that you will see is another email after they get your item wanting ALL of the accessories that were available for that item...and if you don't cave in, they will open a case against you...blah blah blah. We have seen too many of these types of posts here over the years.
This is how some of these people are...they are the entitled crowd. 4 accessories today and before you know it they will want all of the contents in your home...PLUS your home for good measure - with both cars in the garage.
Oh and dinner cooked for them when they arrive.
UGH!
