Quick Fix for Photo Zoom Problems with New Listings

Here is a quick fix for solving the problem of photos in new listings not zooming. Before posting your images, be sure that you have "Resized" them so at least one side of the image is a minimum of 1601 pixels in size.  After 4 days of frustration, doing this has worked for me and I hope it will work for you. Good Luck and Happy Selling, Eric

Quick Fix for Photo Zoom Problems with New Listings

@stuffasfound, thanks for the advice and workaround, however, it makes no sense for me.

There is a happy medium in what I am selling that is forcing this issue for me, (antique marbles) and typically anything over 1000x1000 is simply disorienting to the buyer.  OK, sure, I could add a bunch of empty space to get to 1601 pixels, but then my (resulting) thumbnails would be tiny and would not have the necessary eye appeal.

I spent time hacking the photo addresses, and guess what? while ebay is choking my pics to 500 pixels, my full and logically sized pics ARE SITTING NICELY ON THEIR SERVER waiting in vain to be shown to the buying public.

Your workaround may shed light on the where code problem lies. Thanks!

I hope it helps EBAY get this fixed!

Quick Fix for Photo Zoom Problems with New Listings

@stuffasfound I ran some tests, and am having luck with 1000x1000 images zooming on listings where images were replaced as suggested.  Thanks for the head's up that things might be working again!
