I sold an item using Global Shipping. The day after receiving a message from ebay that the item was delivered I got another message from ebay saying that case number xxxxxxx is closed in my favor. That the buyer claimed item not received but they have tracking information proving item was delivered and the case will not affect my seller performance and any feedback left for this transaction will be removed. Same day receive a third message from ebay stating that a refund and return request has been filed by the buyer and if I accept the return I will be charged return shipping (alot of money it was free shipping to Global SHipping Center). My funds are frozen while the request is open. Can the buyer open another case against me after the first case was closed? Am I obligated to refund and pay shipping even though I normally do accept returns this seems shady and costly? Do I have to respond to this?
first case was for not receiving the item. Second request is for a return. So yes, they can open a second case.
What was their reason for the return?
