Question about markdown sales

Hello fellow sellers,

If I make a campaign for 20% off all items shop wide, then a buyer makes an offer and I accept, does the buyer get 20% off THAT agreed price??

As a seller I would not have BO on my lsitings if they were already discounted for the very reason you state - all it does is create a grey area.

If it is an unsolicited offer - I just ignore those anyway.

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

The buyer is totally legit. I'm just wondering if a buyer gets the 20% off the price he made an offer at. Or does the 20% off only apply to sales made at full price.

I am making a promotion campaign for all items in my shop, 20% off.

With Best Offers you and the buyer are negotiating (only) the price that the item sells for.

If either party accepts the offer then that will be the price the item sells for.

Then eBay's software will go to the listing and add on any shipping cost that are are

specified in the listing.

No extra discount will will be given to the buyer.

if you have accepted that customer's offer then probably buyer's offer is definitely not less than 20% of yours, if you are a good seller you should tell them about your discount and offer better offer to the buyer, otherwise that's another story for you to decide but the risk is that the buyer knows about your program and you don't mention it, there is a high chance of a bad feedback
