Question about buyers

I had a buyer contact me yesterday regarding one of my listings. He told me to change my listing so he could bid on it. Of course I did not do that. I didn’t even ask why. Then he asked to call me and I said no. Well he won the bid. And he paid promptly. he kept giving me messages on my other listings and I had about four or five messages at a time with different topics and I was getting confused. so I told him that I will send what he won and if he wants any other products that he can bid on those options as well. He asked me to sell off of eBay, which I would not do. This morning I woke up to a message where he was Cursing at me and yelling at me about how I’m complaining. He sounds very unhinged and I was wondering am I obligated to send this order out because he paid? I just wanna avoid further problems down the road with this fella. But I’m not sure that his behavior other than asking to work off of eBay  Call me was out of line. Since he paid Wood, I have to return the money then cancel the order then block him?

Question about buyers

I don't know what "paid wood" is, but if you don't want to deal at all with this person, just cancel - he'll get all his money back, you will get your fees back. Block the guy.

Sounds like he was shopping drunk and then woke up with a hangover.

He'll probably leave a screaming neg, and you can leave a calm reply if you can't remove it. I'm sorry you have to deal with this buyer.

In future - don't even deal with someone who starts asking weird questions. Just block.

Question about buyers

Maybe you "tripped" while carrying the package to the post office and landed on top of it and when you opened the box to inspect you found the item was completely destroyed, so now you have to send an email to the buyer explaining that to be the reason for cancelling the sale and you are very sorry this happened.

Block that buyer too.

😁

Or tell him the item was abducted by aliens and you're so sorry, but this tends to happen sometimes.

Question about buyers

I didn’t make it back here in time to get any assistance to have the feedback removed. I called them and tried to have it removed and they said he did not break any policies of feedback so they couldn’t remove it. They removed one other man who actually was less Vocal so I’m surprised. He indeed did leave feedback. He called me a scammer and I think he said I didn’t let him know why I canceled which was in one of the 78 messages. He must’ve just missed it. I did leave a reply on his feedback  And I think it was the perfect reply so I don’t worry about it anymore. People can see that the rest of the feedback is positive so they see one negative feedback with my response not a big deal I guess but thanks for your response.

Question about buyers

I agree about your reply being perfect.  Some might say it would be better to say this or that, but as a very frequent buyer here myself, if I read his comment followed by yours, the picture would be very clear to me.   That you are a kind person with a long fuse, but you know right from wrong and you don't put up with wrong.  That's a model seller to me.

That certainly was an high maintenance buyer for sure.  I would suggest that you report this buyer for the excessive use of the email system.  That is rather abusive and if they did it to you, they did it to others too.
