Question about a best offer and responding in an email with an offer

So, I have an offer on an item.   I want to respond with an acceptance of her offer by putting the amount she requested in the reply box.   However, under the box it says, shipping is not included.  My listing is for free shipping.

2 questions

If I respond with her offer by placing my counter offer in the reply box (which is what she offered) will it automatically show it sold for her to buy?  Do I need to do anything on my end.

Also, will it still have free shipping, as is in the listing?

Thankws

Question about a best offer and responding in an email with an offer

I had this exact same situation last Thursday evening.  The 'Best Offer' option was not on the original listing, and the buyer had made the offer through a regular eBay message.

All you need to do is 'Reply with Offer' by entering the amount in the price field.  If your listing already is marked for free shipping, there is no need to make any changes.  The listing will remain active (other buyers may purchase) until the buyer has accepted the offer.
