Question Did Customer Actually Pay?

I sold a book and it said Sold Awaiting Payment, now it also say ship and awaiting payment - now all my orders at the top of the product page there is a green ribbon that says "paid" on such and such date then says print shipping label, the order in question has a blue ribbon top of page and says "you've received payment for this item" print shipping label. I remember in the past sometimes buyers would mark item as paid when it actually was not, is that what is happening here?

Check in your seller hub to be sure, but a buyer can not mark as paid

This page shows you orders paid and awaiting shipment.

This page shows you financial transactions so you can verify that the buyer's payment was submitted.

No, the most that buyers can do is to mark an item as Payment Sent (meaning, literally, "the check's in the mail"), but that does not trigger any directive to ship on the seller's end. If eBay gets the payment, they will tell you when it's time to ship. If the seller receives the payment directly from the buyer (such as a check or USPS Money Order), he can mark the item as Payment Received himself.

I'm not familiar with a blue ribbon vs. a green ribbon, though. Maybe the blue ribbon indicates an e-Check that eBay is waiting to clear...? If you're not being told to ship yet, then don't.
