If do a 20% off promotion will eBay automatically add something to the items listed that shows this to buyers? If so what does it look like?

Ebay will show the full price crossed out (strikethrough) and put your calculated new price next to it and will show the amount savings along with a percentage. Your store will show the listing with a "SALE" badge on the top right corner of the gallery photo.

As far as I know, they would not show anything different in listing keyword search results versus a listing with no sales promotion except for a 20% off at the bottom.

Does eBay only show the price drop the day of the sale? i.e. if my sale is March 24 does the percentage appear on the day of the 24th or does it show it if the is scheduled to end on the 24th, several days ahead of time?

P.S. You have some really nice stuff. I know how hard to work with that type of thin aluminum. Are you doing all of the cutting with a dremel?

Once the promotion is live, it can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours for the listing to start displaying the price drop. The price drop will show on the listing for the duration of the promotion. Here is another item number that is on the same promotion, this one is a GTC listing so you can see how it looks, 202622848286 The current promotion that I am running expires on March 23rd at 11:30 pm.
