I am offering a coupon Buy 1,  Get 1 20% off with Coupon.

What I see happening is the buyer picks 1 item without paying for that first item immediately and later after paying for the first item automatically gets a 20% discount on that first item.  There is no purchase of any second item.

There is a glitch in the computer program.

No glitch - that’s what you have chosen.  Your coupon is to buy 1 item, get 20% off.  You can change your offer to  “buy 2, get 1 20% off.”

You have replaced your "buy 1, get 20% off" coupon with a straight "get 20% off" coupon.  You need to change it to "buy 2, get 20% off one" coupon.

I just found out that my items were blocked if a buyer wanted to purchase something else within 10 days.

I have adjusted and removed any blocking and you can buy now anything you want.  I was not aware of this situation and I actually only found out about this from a buyer who contacted me directly.

What I have discovered is that this computer system is as horrible as they come.  Ebay has given sellers a cart that does not work.  If you look over the posts there are buyers who have items in their carts that they can not remove.  Items don't go into carts automatically and apparently discounts and coupons offered don't work.

No one honestly can say that Ebays check out system works as well as any other that any of us have used in other stores.

The system can not handle shipping costs for multiple items so that the end results is a total shipping cost for all items desired.

There are numerous complaints about how the check out works and we are all victims.

I have never sold more than one item at a time.

It is August 13th 2024.  My conclusion is the check out system for Ebay does not operate as it should.  I have complained and have read many complaints about the check out system. If it worked all merchandise should accumulate in a cart and before paying for multiple items discounts should be given, one shipping cost should be applied, taxes and fee applied, and choice of payment made with a cost that is finalized by the buyer.

I don't even think this check out system can be manipulated manually by any ones best efforts, the check out system on Ebay is dysfunctional PERIOD.
