Promoted listings?

Why would I want to pay for the same service twice? Is not that what I pay ebay for is to promote all listings to buyers to generate sales?  I certainly do not pay them, much like social media, to have exposure of my listings hindered based on fees....ebay you are cutting your nose off to spite your face, never forget that when we, the sellers, do not sell products you also lose income, so it is in your best interest to promote all seller listings on an equal basis in your search engine results....

Promoted listings?

Are you addressing other sellers or ebay?

Promoted listings?

If I put a sign on my shop and make a nice window display, why should I advertise on the radio or on TV?

Basically, you are making your listings easier for potential customers to find by advertising.

Promoted Listings are voluntary, and we can choose our rate. (Although the greedy buggers have raised the minimum to 2%.)

And unlike most forms of advertising, we only pay if it actually works.
