So, was wondering how's the best way to sellout of the Ebay business? At this point, getting help from Ebay is a myth and I cannot continue to lose money because something as simple as people not reading descriptions cost me traffic and sells.

Sorry to read that you're losing money with your ebay store. There are numerous ways to sell off your inventory. Just realize that these aren't the best of days for selling anything.....you might still lose money via the other selling ways. You can try to cancel your ebay store & just keep selling with the most basic selling account without exceeding the amount of free monthly listings that ebay offers you.
Good luck & hang in there!!!

If I wanted out, I'd simply end all my listings and find alternate venues on which to sell or simply dispose of the items. Give some of them as gifts. Have a tag sale. Whatever.

If you are losing money now and you cannot continue to lose money, I think your only realistic option would be to end all your listings.
I do not think there is anything you can do to "sellout of the eBay business" that will change buyer behavior or stop then from returning items.

Some people shop by pictures you need all the important info in the title and condition area, forget the descriptions. If you want to 2x your sales raise promoted listings to above trending. Run a 30% off store coupon and markdown sale.

How exactly are you losing money? Unless you are making Zero sales and paying for a store fee whilst still listing and sourcing new items, then you aren't losing money. Have you tried lowering prices, running sales, utilizing coupons, fixing listings, offering better return policy, best offer, promoted listings etc.... It's all about averages at the end of the day. eBay gives us more than enough tools to drive & make sales, so use them. Are you listing items every day? Are your items desirable? Getting help from eBay & people not reading descriptions is a horrible and stupid reason to give up. In my opinion 80-90% of buyers do not read descriptions but that isn't going to stop me from selling my items and making a profit. Do you always read the manual or fine print when you purchase a product or service? If so then congrats but most people do not & that shouldn't be a reason for you to give up. Just looking at a dozen or so of your listings your titles could use some helps along with photo's & descriptions. Good luck.

You have around 160 items listed and have sold about 68 items. That is not a bad ratio. If you are losing money it is not related to Ebay but to your business model. Also, your targets seem to attract bad press.

The OP is just venting because he got a negative feedback from a buyer and he thinks its going to cause loss sales.
