First of all, I am selling the leather iPhone 11 pro/ max cases. I know those items are very competitive and I also set my prices as competitive as possible. As I am beginning to sell on eBay, I take no profit at all (Loss with promoted listing). But the problem is I barely see views on my listing even though I put 50% (more than double suggested rate) for a couple of days. Before that, I always set promo rate to above or equal to the suggested rate. Does anyone have any suggestions? Billion thanks in advance.

In my opinion this is one topic that points out the greed and exploitation of online sales venues more than anything - I said when these promoted listings first started it was like a seller putting the noose around their own head if they took part in it - Trending rates? So you want to pay to get ahead of the crowd huh? Great - So if you see the trending rate is 5.5% you're gonna go 7.5% to eek up a bit - You and 5,000,000 thoughtless others - Well guess what - Now the trending rate is 5.7% - Surely I do not need to explain further the exploitation and insufferable greed this represents - Sellers have heedlessly set a TRAP for themselves by buying into this madness
So you beat the zombie crowd and sold a few things before more sellers started using promoted listings - What did you really accomplish - You set it in rhythm because the venue got the response they were looking for - Should have just let them raise Fees a % point or two cause you just started the dominos falling - Now that - What happens when everyone is using it? - You get the exact same search result you had before it ever started - Hahahaha there is the madness of the thing - Unless of course you are willing to pay more in promotions, but then again how many more are also willing? You're just tightening the noose - eventually a program like this raises prices and lowers quality and service - Just what we need right? Eventually a program built on this structure will it hit a point of collapse - It is a recipe for failure and hardly a soul thought about the ramifications before happily jumping in - Thats why we have so many animal species on the verge of extinction - No one cares about the end result, only the short term payoff.
The above is only a small portion of what is wrong with promoted listings and you sir, paying upwards of 50%? YOU ARE NOT HELPING ANYONE - Not even yourself - Too many other people ratcheting up that rate to keep sales going now that its started - Theres your answer - hope you sell something today - who cares about tomorrow right?

50% PL rate is very high most sellers use 1-5%. I noticed one thing your title is to short. Do a search on the same product in eBay and see who is at the top of the search results and see what title they have. Try to match close to their title. You need to sell other things one listing won't do much for you in the way of sales. You need to find profitable items and list more. Also use social media to boost your eBay listing they give the social icons at the top right of your listing. You need to sell for profit or your working for northing.
