I sold an item on July 15, 2019 to buyer. He paid for it at around 9pm. I was already in bed as I get up early for work. The next morning (July 16, 2019), I saw the message that he had paid. So I took the item to work with me and planned to mail it out after I got off work. Well, around lunch time (about 13 hours after he paid) he opened an "item not received" case against me on PayPal. My ad clearly stated up to 2 business days to ship! I should also mention all of his messages are in Spanish, which I don't speak. So I have to translate them. His address for shipping is in Florida, but his profile says he is in the Dominican Republic. Anyway, not wanting to deal with someone like him, I just refunded his payment in full that day (July 16, 2019). Well, on July 17, 2019 he submitted negative feedback against me. I have reported him to ebay, but as of today nothing has been done! I still have the negative feedback, which was clearly posted in retaliation and ebay has yet to contact me! I did nothing wrong I can't reply to his negative feedback nor can I post negative feedback for him. I will assume because I used the report buyer option.
ebay has made a lot of money off of me over the years. I would expect ebay to back its sellers and do the right thing here! If ebay allows buyers to strong arm sellers like this then I might have to rethink using ebay!
