Private Listing

Does making your LISTING PRIVATE in anyway affect the "items"  Search results via eBay or RSS Feeds and related: would making your Listing Private inadvertently place your Listing in the  eBay algorithmic "rear"  of Search results or cause any  Search related fluctuations? Any Case studies that can be reviewed?

Best guess is No, no change to search results.  I have seen many TRS who do tons of transactions and all their listings are private.

Why they keep all listings/transactions private is by choice, maybe a second step to preventing others from seeing who and what they sell.

No.  A "private" listing merely hides bidders identities and, in Feedback, the listing title and link to the auction.  The status has no effect on the original listing.
