Printing Packing Slips and Postage 08/30/2024

Ok, so none of the programmers , middle management , upper management , or shareholders probably sell on the platform.  I do.  I AM EBAY'S CUSTOMER.  I have 5 stores. I am Ebay's customer, not the folks that come to my bought and paid for store to buy something from ME.  They are not Ebay's customer.

Now to the point.

Ebay shipping properties is jacked up.  To print a packing slip, then print an address label has gotten simply silly the last few days. ( I hesitate to say STUPID, and this post will probably get pulled quicker than lightening.

First,,,  I go to my Seller's Hub to see what is happening with the store.  Second,  I click on the little number under the sold catagory..  Follow along here.  When the next page comes up, it is an alternative new look to the traditional SOLD page I have bookmarked.  Ok,  I can work from there.  So far,  I have sold something, and made it to the sold page.  I want to print a packing invoice,  and print a shipping label.

Oh look,  I sold 5 different widgets, to 5 different buyers...  that is good.

Customer 1,  widget,  I checkmark the item I want to work with,  figure out which drop down menu I need, and up pops a new window with the traditional print packing slip configuration.  Wonderful, step 1, check.  Label prints , and I close the pop up.

NEXT,  I want to print a lable.  I find the appropriate link, and click,~~ no pop up window,  no page opens in a new tab/window,  In Chrome (86% World Wide Users) the postage page opens.  OK. We can deal with this.

I check the shipping info, agree to the selection, and hit the blue button, UP pops a popup and I print my label.

But wait, I want to go back and and work on the other  sales / solds..... but... the back button takes me back to ,,,,  well, it's not the solds page.....

Why oh why do the techies have to screw with a process that was smooth and usually worked.  I can all but guarantee you that collecting my payments, and taking Ebays cut of the pie is functional .  So why jack with a truly "seamless" process ??

So in short,  I have to go back to my Seller's Hub everytime I want to take care of another order, IE: Start Over.......  Comment away my friends...

and now back to your regular shenanigans....

WOW - talk about mountains and molehills.

Go to your seller hub page/sold items.

Notice that to the left it says “print shipping label”. Click the down arrow. HOLD DOWN THE SHIFT KEY and click print packing slip. That will open in a NEW WINDOW. Print the packing slip then close the window (do not use the “back” button)

BANG you are right back on seller hub.

HOLD DOWN THE SHIFT KEY and click print label. Once it is printed close the window (do not use the back button).

BANG you are right back on seller hub.

Rinse and repeat.

In the alternative to holding down the shift key, you can “right click” and select “open in new window”. Either method leaves the Seller Hub open and running on an independent screen. You never have to “go back” to it.
