Print on demand on ebay

Hey, is print on demand allowed on ebay?

This is simply a form of drop shipping, for personalised items.

I know you can integrate with eBay but I am uncertain of eBays requirements for you to do this, or if there are guidelines regarding copyrighted items to be followed - hopefully someone else may have better information.

It is only offered to US ebay sellers.

You will have to explain what you mean in greater detail. 

If you are talking about printing an item on demand (i.e. as the orders come in) and then shipping it to the buyer, that is permitted.  

If you are talking about selling an item that involves the buyer getting a code or going to a website to print or download his item, that is a "digital item" and eBay has put very extreme restrictions on those items.

I'm talking about working with a respected company like printful and printify to print mugs on demand and shipping them. I will make all the designs, promote, listings everything. Printful will handle the printing and shipping. It's kinda like dropshipping. That's why I was curious if print on demand is allowed in ebay.

Yes, it is allowed on eBay, and I do know that Printful does integrate with eBay - you'll have to get more details from them, though (I'm more familiar with it from Etsy).  There is SO much POD stuff drop shipped from Printful, Treelaunch, Printify, etc. that you'll be joining a very heavily trodden path.

And the return policy for print on demand ? The Printful and Printify do not accept return unless the print is poor quality.
What do you do if the client wants to return that his shirt ?

Why not just have them print up a 500 mugs and ship them to you. You just ship them out when someone orders them yourself. 

That way you are in control of fulfillment and the customer service experience your clients have. Np worrt about ebay's policy. Easy Peasey.
