People selling toilet paper at outrageous prices! Have you seen people selling packs of toilet paper for millions of dollars...really!? Why does Ebay allow price gouging!?!?!?

Please read eBay's announcement posted days ago.

Keeping this in perspective, selling for thousands or millions of dollars is called entertainment. No one takes that seriously. "Gouging" would be prices that are 2 to 5 times higher, and that buyers might seriously consider. Those are the gouging issues that need to be addressed, and that I suspect eBay will address when they return to work on Monday.

People are selling single sheets of toilet paper. I have reported a bunch but too many to go through. Disgusting!

Selling a pack of 6 rolls of TP for $1800 and $3000, etc. is pricing gouging no matter how you look at it. It's illegal behavior and ebay could it into trouble for allowing such behavior! Look it up!

eBay is actively ending listings that are related to COVID-19 Price Gouging.
If you wish to help eBay police the 1.3 Billion active listings, eBay employees have given guidance on how to report these listings (new guidance as of March 16)
All listings have a "Report Item" link.
On a desktop/laptop this link can be found directly above the description on the right
On mobile, the button is "Report this Item", scroll down past "About the seller"
Use the following Menu options:
Prohibited And Restricted Items
Illegal Items and items encouraging illegal activity
Other Illegal activity concerns

Since you assume that I did not try to report, I did but the way it is setup there is no option for price gouging. I have images of a few and would be happy to report such, but make it so that people easily can. Have a nice day!☺

You are wasting your time trying to report TP. I had 13 of them on my watch list yesterday. 12 of them went poof. The other one was bought for several thousand dollars. I suspect it will never be paid for. I added 7 more a little while ago. I suspect tomorrow morn they too will have gone poof. Ebay is already taking them down as fast as they can.

Thank you, for sharing that!! It's good to know that it will be handled!!

I have also been reporting hundreds of (insert profanity) sellers daily for the last week that have clearly been price gouging on toilet paper. I've followed eBay's instructions on how to report price gouging. To date, not a single one of those sellers have been banned or even had their listing taken down. Conclusion: ebay is in on the price gouging scam and they don't give a rat's (insert profanity) about it. Solution: boycott ebay until they act like an ethical and responsible business. Reality: they won't
