Posting for multiple items

Why when I sell something on ebay, and I have a quantity greater than 1 can I select a delivery cost and a cost for each additional item but my partner on his account can only set a standard shipping amount? He has an issue where in theory, someone could order 50 of his item and he only gets 1 lot of postage, this is clearly madness!

How do we fix it so he can edit the postage cost of each additional item?

Your friend has postage setup as "flat rate" and does NOT specify postage for additional items.   So yes, if customer purchases 50 items they will only pay single "flat rate" charge.

The second box normally shows up when there is a quantity of more than one of the item on the listing.  Do they have more than one entered? If so, then the problem is something different.

It does like you are each using a different type of listing page so they might be using the simplified version.  I tried to add an additional postage box on the simplified Canadian listing page but couldn't figure out if it is was possible to do.  But this is the US board and our listing pages might be slightly different so you might want to ask on the UK discussion board if it is possible.
