I am to list a Cover from Hawaii that includes a personal letter Is this acceptable? the later was dated 1935

In my personal opinion, the age of the letter surpasses any concern for privacy or identification purposes. Ephemera such as yours sells every day.

Reading this policy suggests that an address on a letter would not be included in their "information", as you cannot use a name and address from 1935 to contact another member on eBay (that's what the policy exists for, and to prevent a person's privacy from being violated).

 

I sell vintage postcards, and some contain a name and address that is 100 years old. Used postcards are common on eBay and they all contain a name and address of where the postcard was mailed.
