I just received a message from a buyer that he just received (after 4 months) a card he purchased from me but indicted I sent him the incorrect card. The card he said he didn't receive was just over $100. He sent me a picture of a card that I supposedly sent to him (same player), but only worth a fraction of the value. I didn't catch that he was out of the country but using an address in the US. Says his mail is sits in the US for a while before it is sent to him. I know mistakes can happen, but I honestly am very sure I sent him the correct card. I have searched my inventory and do not have the card in question. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but my gut is telling me something different. Any advise?

Hi there, I am the buyer who recieved the wrong card. I exclude any attempt of scam from my side. To be honest, just labeling this thread as a potential scam really offends me.
At first, I truly believe pappy-alaska did not want to scam me but simply made a mistake.
Let me summarize the whole case:
Pappy-alaska sent me a card that has the same photo as the one I paid for, but it's a base variation without patch and with minimal value. I have sent him a photo of the original packaging (which cannot be replicated) which clearly shows that it could not even contain a thick patch card. Pictures are attached. Another argument is simple: why would I suddenly, after such a long time since the purchase, even come up with this, when ebay offers a guarantee? Why would I make it complicated for myself? Just think about it!

Hi there, I am the buyer. I am using a PO Box in US from which I have shipments forwarded to Europe after some time.
