Poorly worded ad

First time seller on E-Bay.  I listed two tickets for sale for a specific price but meant to sell tickets separtely not both for the price I listed, but I did not say "each ticket".  Buyer has paid through PayPal but deal has not been finalized, I have not taken any of his funds.  Am I obligated to sell both tickets together for that price, or can I refuse and withdraw the ad or simply tell the buyer I made a mistake and tell  him to take all of his funds back?  Concert does not occur until July.  Thoughts?

Whatever Sam. All I know if my friend lost her money because PayPal took it back and she had to go get it herself.

Listing says Pickup only so no shipping involved. Buyer pays with PayPal, picks up tickets and then claims they didn't get them and seller has no delivery confirmation to prove delivery.

There is no buyer protection for Item Not Recieved on a Local Pick-Up transaction. Not from eBay and not from PayPal.

It's a long standing discussion board myth that what you describe can actually happen. While it may be possible for a buyer to open an INR claim they can't possibly win unless the seller simply fails to respond.

I believe there are the 'hidden scenarios' where the buyer would get their money back - from either place. There was definately a mention of it from the blues on the chats.

And does the '7 days after the event' still kick in even if it's after 30 days from the 'delivery' date on ebay?

That can happen if ... The sale was made with shipping originally ... And then the buyer and seller agreed to Local Pick up after the sale.

If the listing has shipping options and the buyer pays for shipping (or even a revised invoice that zeros out the shipping is paid) ... The buyer can claim INR.

If the listing is Local Pickup Only or has LP as one of the shipping options and local pickup is selected at checkout,  the buyer cannot claim INR.

Basically

Listing says shipping ... INR yes.

Listing says no shipping ... INR no.

For $4,500 I would think any buyer out there would obviously think they were buying two tickets.  At that price I would expect Stevie to take me out for dinner after the show.
