42 minutes and counting now I have been waiting for someone to answer my call. It's beyond frustrating. The really annoying part is I am calling them because of an issue on their end that they told me they would fix but they did not.
I sold 18 heavy boxes of records to someone and he opted for local pickup. I even went as far as to meet him halfway in NJ to make his drive easier. eBay shows that there was no tracking uploaded and it is threatening my Top Rated staus.
I called two weeks ago and was assured it would be taken care of. Now here I am at 45 minutes now on hold, wasting my day....

What do you expect when people call 5 and 6 times to try and get a well earned negative removed, hoping they'll wear down the rep?
I personally think they should start charging for calls. You get 1 free a month and after that they're $5.

I rarely need to call e bay but I was TOLD to call them back this morning by the rep I spoke to 3 days ago. I sold an item to a new to e bay buyer who had an invalid address . I tried to contact the buyer to no avail , no response . Finally this morning I refunded the buyer with an explanation that I could not ship to the address they had on file . However on my sellers page it now says I'm late to ship . So I TRIED to call ebay ,, nearly an hour on hold after being given an 18 minute estimation. Forget about it . Tulips

At least the reps would have a reason to hang up sooner - so people could call back more often. (Ooops, sorry, the phone slipped. Thank you for calling back. That will be $5.00 .... and your credit card nuimber is .... ?)

Excellent idea! You must work for the competition.

That's probably a modest estimate there of 5 or 6 calls. I usually say, incessantly. Board advice usually says, call until you get someone to remove it. Infinity and beyond?
If that energy were put into avoiding the issue when the item was listed, it wouldn't be necessary at all.

I have no idea why when it has been posted on the Board incessantly as well.

Probably for the most part it is a myth since there is such a big variety of reasons sellers must call e bay . I certainly wasn't trying to get a negative removed [ don't have any] when I tried to call them this morning . Tulips
