I didn't even notice that I received a neutral feedback that says "THANK YOU" .
All his other feedback left for others is positive except for 6 in a row (including mine) that were neutrals with "THANK YOU".
People are strange.

Might it be something to do with the 'new' feedback process/form?
Have seen a ton of posts saying it is hard to follow, stupid changes etc, no idea coz our FB seems to be the same as normal over here.

I don't know how they could make a mistake (Neutral Feedback) 6 times in a row. What a tool.
If only buyers really understood what goes in with selling....
And no one remembers your name.

You are just figuring that out?? If you don't sell on Marketplace, give it a try if you want to find out about what people are really like! lol

It happens all the time. I think it's I-phones that I heard retain the last FB left. People are in a hurry & just press enter. I've seen ones where the same obviously wrong FB is left for 20 sellers in a row. It's a phone thing usually.
Also...

That still doesn't beat "It was a gift and arrived early" - that neut was even better than my "I found mine so I canceled the sale".

Great song! I agree on one of the best rock vocalist. Insanely powerful!

If they have left 6 neutrals like that, I would message them and let them know that a positive is in order and that neutrals are not favorable on a seller's account (worded nicer than that!). Positive words with a neutral FB--might be able to get both of those removed if you tried.

I've noticed that the percentage of people who treat others the way they want to be treated has plummeted in my lifetime and seems to be in a freefall now.
I think many people are absolutely miserable and somehow feel better about themselves when they inflict a bit of misery on others.
It's sad all the way around.

Many people just click on the same thing they left last time. So if left a neutral, they do not realize this. Do you know how to ask the buyer to revise it? I would message them and see if this is an error. If you are just a small biz, and the feedback is important to you, and explain why, then they will change it 95% of the time. I have a good method to help with this, so if you need help, just message me. If its a helpful comment, give thumbs up. But I can help you get it changed.

@marvinbrowns
I've heard sellers only have so many opportunities to request a buyer to change FB.
It may not be worth it to use one of those opportunities on a neutral which reads as positive?
But I would be interested in knowing your method.

I did receive a neutral from a buyer and that neutral was intentional. The buyer said she was glad the item was new and the length was what she wanted but that the item was "overpriced to the point of being exploitive." Now how do you respond to that? Yes, people are strange. I have been an eBayer for quite some time and continue to ask the question, why is it that sellers are not allowed to give negative feedback to the buyers?

Feedback is a buyer's SUBJECTIVE impression of a transaction. This is one of the reasons that it does not usually affect Ebay's evaluation of a seller's performance.
Neutrals do not affect the FB percentage and if they do not contain a real complaint are meaningless.
Many sellers view anything other than a positive as an insult, others just shrug off neutrals and only respond to them if they have something to say which might affect that rare buyer who reads FB.
Sellers cannot leave negatives for buyers because retaliation for neutral and negative left them was commonplace. The can block buyers who are unreasonable from future purchases.
FB would be gone if Ebay did not fear the negative response from the minority who believe FB tells them something. Amazon chickened out on eliminating FB in 2008 or 2009 - too many sellers who were screaming because other than their 100% FB they had nothing to recommend them and their product offerings.
I read a lot of neutrals for some sellers which could easily be negatives, and the buyer clearly had some empathy.

I just joined the 'Neutral Club' with you! I got one too the other day.

A buyer can do a revision of their feedback in only a 10 day limit...not 11 days.
