Paypal refunded money to buyer without asking me...

Hello, maybe someone can help me with this problem. I sold item on 31st July. Today I see in my Paypal account that money is refunded to buyer.. I have no message from buyer, that something was wrong, there was no return case on Ebay and no information from Paypal.. They just sent money back to buyer, but I didn't get my item back.. 

Maybe someone was in this situation and can advice what to do?

I wrote email to Paypal and message to buyer, but this item cost 300$ so I am very anxious about this situation:((

The only thing I can think of is that the original payment was "pending", and then it did not go through.  This happens sometimes with international transactions.

Calling up PayPal should give you more insight.

OP is in Lithuania.

We non-US sellers have a full 21 day hold on payments when we are new which is harder to have removed than for US based sellers.

However, OP has been selling fairly successfully for over a year now with a 98.7% FB rating.

I'm wasn't referring to holds ... by "pending" I was referring to uncleared payments such as when a buyer pays by eCheck.

It is possible that the buyer paid by eCheck but then didn't have sufficient funds in their account for paying, or they gave false bank account information.

Emailing PP with an issue is likely not to get any real information for you.  But it will certainly chew up your time waiting.  If you want to get to the bottom of it and resolve it, I would think time is important.  You need to call PP and see what happened.

Do you know if "new" refers to age of account or number of transactions? I don't know if the OP falls under this category since I'm not familiar with this international rule. But I agree with orange that a call to PayPal would definitely shed some light here. Let us know what you find out from them. And yes, $300 is more than enough to spend my effort in calling... not emailing PayPal.
