Paypal is the problem!

Was just told the reason that sales are slow has nothing to do with sellers, and ebay has no problems.  Ebay just told me to call Paypal.  Our reason for slow sales is buyers can't process orders and checkout on ebay is Paypal fault and I should call and complain to them!

Paypal is the problem!

And how would it be PayPal's fault?

Bahahahahahaha. Sounds like the rep did not know what to say.

But seriously, sometimes sales are slow because you are failing to correctly sell within the market. I have several listings of assorted bundles of makeup. Every single time I unbundle it and sell individually, it sells within a day. I just have yet to take time and do that being this is my hobby. Try something diferent and ignore the folks blaming this or that.

Sounds like ebay is trying to turn sellers against paypal in order to make us more accepting of THEIR payment system.

Paypal is the problem!

Just want to add a quick comment.  I tried buying yesterday, and couldn't get PayPal to stop asking me for my phone number over and over again.  Finally gave up....

Seems at least one buyer on this thread got fed up with check out and went elsewhere. There are glitches everywhere - it could very well be that Payapl has a problem.

Actually, I used my other PP account and had no problem paying.  But I doubt many buyers have two PP accounts or would bother trying another account.

I've had the account (that didn't work) since 2003.  The phone number hasn't changed.

But in retrospect, my issue may have arisen at Checkout.  I clicked buy-now and was directed to a large box where I entered my PP name/password.  (I've never seen this box before on other purchases.)  It was then that I was repeatedly asked for my phone number.

So I don't know if this is a PP issue or a Checkout issue...or both.

No it isn't paypal  ! I had no  problems paying my sellers .   It is ebay .    I been waiting to here from  more  buyers that bought from sellers  that are beta testing adyen .  So far  I know one  buyer, that bought  item from  one seller  in the beta test adyen  and said  it was interesting  because   the  check out was treating  as newbie on how to pay by credit card   .
