I've tried to linked my bank account to receive payouts and gives me an error message. When contacted customer service by chat, they sent a link to see if it works. Well, it didn't. I spoke with someone on the phone the second time and they suggested to open another account with another bank. I did because I am switching banks anyways and still gave me an error message. I have my debit card as payout and I can't request the funds because is grayed out. What am I supposed to do now? Two banks that I was able to log in but once I clicked on to use as payout, it gives me an error. At this point, I think is Ebay's system. I'm frustrating over the situation. I've been with Ebay for about 15 years as a seller and buyer. If they would of have PayPal as a payout this wouldn't happen.

I might be a bit confused by what you asking. You are trying to link your bank account to your ebay ID so that you can receive payments from buyers?

Is your account a checking account? Is the name and address on the account identical to the one on one your ebay account?

I'm not sure what you mean by having your debit card as a payout as the money will go to your bank account, not a debit card.

eBay announced a "new" way to get your payouts within 30 minutes. You add a debit card number to your eBay account, then you can request they send the funds to your bank account through your debit card. Once you have it set up, you can get paid one of two ways: 1) on your regular payout schedule or 2) on demand to your debit card. There is a fee for this service.

That said, I am having the same problem as the OP. I was on the phone with CS, and they had to open a ticket with their IT department.

I have the same problems. Their system won't accept any of my 2 bank debit cards. I spoke with CS several times. My problem has been escalated. I expect it will work in a year or two. I'm not going to hold my breath.

I'm trying to link my ebay to my bank account so Ebay can send the funds directly to my account. I've tried to link two banks and neither works. I have a checking account and my name and address match. I've read that I can use my debit card as a payout but is not working either. I've read a lot of people are having the same issue.
