Payment posting delays

My first experience happened when I sold a pair of Serengeti sunglasses.  The buyer paid immediately when the auction ended Monday night 1/25/21.  Today is Wednesday 1/27/21 ... I received an email at around 7 this morning that my payout was made ... And that it would take 3-4 days to hit my bank account.  This is direct conflict with eBay's promises of "immediate payment"   I call **bleep** on this.  How much interest is eBay making holding our money for 24-48 hours, or longer.  I don't sell a lot ... But when I do, I don't expect to wait days to get a payment that the buyer made immediately.  We would love to hear your experiences

My buyer's payments are my bank deposits in 4 business days. Know that eBay never promised "immediate payment", and know that 'Daily' payout doesn't mean 'next-day' payout. You can adapt... I did. Good luck.

This page seems to indicate that it will take somewhere between 4 and 7 days for a payment to clear into a bank account:

Can you post a link to where eBay promises an "immediate" payment?

I think you're confusing "immediate payment required" of a buyer when making a purchase versus eBay paying a seller the proceeds of that transaction immediately. I don't know that eBay every promised that.

eBay doesn't collect any interest on pending payouts.

I have been in Managed Payments since October 2018.

In my experience, it takes 4 days from when the buyer pays to when the payment (less FVF) is credited to my checking account. My checking account is with a major bank. When I was using my federal credit union checking account, it took longer than 4 days.

I have a 1-day handling time, and I have specified daily payouts since I am a low volume seller. When the item is in Seller Hub > Orders > Awaiting shipment, I ship.
