Pay Pal Removed Funds Now

I got a message from Pay Pal telling me my Funds Now has been removed from my account. They said because I'm not selling enough. I got back to them and said I'm in lock down you can't go anywhere and that I mostly get my items at auction which are all closed now. So what do they expect me to do. It didn't help at all. I'm just wondering if this happened to anyone else.

did you get that message from ebay while you were signed in or did you get the message from your e-mail ? I cannot see how they can just take your funds. It seems like that would be illegal to take them for a reason like that. Or any reason !! If it came from a message on your e-mail it is likely a scam to get info from you.

They didn't take funds. It is the funds now feature. Instead of being able to get my money instantly now i have to wait. They are treating me like a newbee. I've been on Ebay and used Pay Pall for years.

Do you have a positive balance in your PayPal account?

1) Are they holding (some or all of) your balance in case a refund is opened on a recent sale?

2) Are they holding funds from new sales for (a certain number of) days?

Did the PayPal message give a reason? I'm confused...

Yes they will hold the money instead of being able to get it instantly. They told me it is because I'm not selling much lately.

I don't keep a lot of inventory so being on lock down It's impossible to get anything.

I feel for you.  I am in the same boat.

My inventory comes from Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.  Both theme parks closed down in March, so I can't purchase additional items to sell.

I am also in funds now.I have been in the program for about 9 months now and the only difference that I ever notice is that my money is not held when a case is opened,that is the way it was explained to me,if someone has a problem with a purchase, my money will not get held up in paypal

I haven't seen anything recently, but I believe they're not supposed to hold your funds for a case if you're a Powerseller anyway.
