Earlier this morning a package I sent out to my buyer was labeled as "returned to seller" but not even 20 minutes later it was out for delivery? The latest tracking says it's out for delivery but I don't know if it actually is or not?

I always wait until I hear from a buyer before I spend time on such matters. Scanning is never 100%, good but not 100%. Again, until I hear otherwise from a buyer I assume all is well.

Probably the carrier hit the wrong button.
While I like to check tracking to see how the delivery times are so that I can better inform buyers I hardly ever look at tracking in "real time". I can check days or weeks later and get the same information.
I do from time to time check tracking shortly after my packages get into the hands of USPS but that is only to see if an acceptance scan has been done. Once it gets an initial scan I'm done with looking, the package either gets there on time or late, absolutely nothing I can do about it so why even look.

Oh my my. The U.S. Postal Service gets things right 99% of the time. As far as following tracking most experienced sellers will not even look at it unless they are contacted by the buyer. We pay for tracking so buyers can follow it and not contact us to ask where their item is located.
I ordered something from someone on the east coast several years ago and it took a ten day detour north and then south right past my town before doubling back to my local post office. The best part was that it was getting scanned twice a day all over NorCal.
You just have to look once to be sure it was scanned into the system. After that leave it up to the buyer to follow the bouncing ball. There is nothing a seller can do to speed things up.

Wait to see if it is marked "delivery information not updated".This means it was delivered but NOT scanned.

Post person probably hit the wrong button...

I had the same problem yesterday morning, do u have any clue what happens?

All you can do is wait and see what happens...

What usually happens is the package is routed the wrong way and sent from one Post Office to another to another Post Office. It is then returned to sender, meaning the Post Office it originated from. Once they get it back, it is then sent to the proper destination.

It was scanned in wrong at the PO by the CCA before loaded onto the truck to deliver the item. They caught it and re-scanned it.
Not surprising, many postal workers are temps, new, untrained, etc.
The route carrier should update the parcel scan at delivery. Would have never caught it -I only look further if not delivered in window timeframe, etc.
