PROMOTED LISTINGS question

Hello
I was about to modify my buy now lists and below sale promoted listed 1 dollar
I don't understand how that works
Do they charge a dollar a day?
Or is it only one dollar until the end of the sale?

PROMOTED LISTINGS question

You seem to be doing fine without using promoted listings why sign up for something that reduces your profits and you don't actually understand in the first place? PL is a sham and there is no way to factually prove it increases sales.

I put two lists today, a junk drawer and a lot of watches.
without promoting them
and so far the counter shows 0 visits in both lists
I don't understand why I have many visitors

It often takes awhile and views really mean nothing. Sales are the only things that really matter.

It seems that it was an error in the counter because there were two watchers and zero visits but now it is fixed

PROMOTED LISTINGS question

@cristian3_6 Promoted Listings Advanced is a pay per click model, which really only makes sense for multiple quantity fixed price listings (with possibly a few exceptions).

Until recently, if you were running auctions, you could promote with Promoted Listings Express, which carried a non-refundable, up front fee. This made sense for some auctions but ebay has removed that option and replaced it with Promoted Listings Standard, which is a pay per sale model.

If you are running auctions of lots (like junk drawer lots), PLA is not well suited for that. PLS might be better, but , while PLS has been around a long time, it is only within the last couple weeks or so that it has been available for auction listings, and its value for auction listings is definitely unproven. If your junk drawer auctions are popular, if you seem to have a following for them, I'm not sure even PLS would be worth the extra cost.

PROMOTED LISTINGS question

What I don't understand is how to pay per click?
Do I have to pay a dollar for each click? In other words, if 20 people visit my lot, do I have to pay 20 dollars?
