For those who do, how are you reporting your sales of used personal items on your taxes?

I see a lot of insistence that one must do so,, but no one talking about how they actually do it. NOT LOOKING TO BE TOLD HOW TO DO IT!!! I am looking for those who actually have done it to say how they do.
