Hi everyone, I'm considering using the "listings stay active when out of stock" feature but I have one question.... when the last item sells, does Ebay send a notification I am now out of stock? So my intention is to just list that I have qty 10 of one item (instead of listing the actual inventory count of 100) Will Ebay let me know the last one sold so I can replenish the inventory count ? Thank you

eBay does not send a notification when an item becomes out of stock. You will see a field show up on your Seller Hub Active Listings page that you can click into to see which item(s) are out of stock.
I have the Out Of Stock feature enabled, right now I do not have any items out of stock, but you will see the Out Of Stock label appear similar to my screenshot below. You will also notice on your orders page the item's quantity will drop to 0 when you are out of stock.

It will look like this......
You can also sort your listings by Quantity Available which will bring all your Out Of Stock (quantity = 0) to the top of the list.

I use the out of stock option.
The answer is NO, they do not notify you.
However, when you are processing the order/printing the shipping label, it does show you the quantity sold and the quantity you have remaining remaining. "0" or however many that may be.
From the seller hub you can also pull up all of your listings that are "out of stock". Also very handy.
