Anyone experience this where you see you photo being used on another sellers listing? Are other sellers that lazy? Is this even allowed?

Yes, several times. It happens.
I've had mine modified, clipped, cutout, enlarged, etc...just not a lot I can do about it, and run a business too...😐

This is one of those issues I don't care about.
When a buyer get an item that looks nothing like the picture, it will probably be returned.
eBay constantly demands large clear pictures, which can be a problem with people that don't have a fast service., but eBay never cares if the picture is of the actual.
They even provide stock photos, and I never buy an item that uses a stock photo.

I sold an item last year; guy re-listed it using my photos. I contacted eBay, they said "too bad." I was told they could be re-used and the guy broke no rules. The item is still listed; it is so obvious for my picture was of the jacket hanging on my door, which was not a common door.
Since that time I watermark all mine. The watermark could still be cut out, but it would be obvious. Must be cautious to not cover anything in the picture that could lead to a claim of deception though.
I put in my listings my pictures I use are my actual pictures; I never use a stock photo, etc. It does not affect anything, but I want my buyers to know I take the time to take pictures.

Yes. Other sellers ARE that LAZY! As you well know, it's very time-consuming to sell here, especially with the detailed listing form now... all those item specific requirements... plus taking photos, editing them, adding other info in the description. Used to be eBay didn't allow other members to "steal" photos but nothing is sacred anymore. It's a "free for all", except for the honest, hard-working seller. Too bad.

Anyone can use your photos unless possibly if you have a "copyright", on them.
Lazy, maybe. No camera of their own, maybe. Maybe your photos are just better than they can do.
eBay, once upon a time, cared, and might do something about it. At this point they do not.
You could message the seller to request that they stop using your photos.
I have seen mine used. Don't really care. Up to that seller to come up with the item that matches the photo if the item sells, unless they are "drop shipping" mine.

If your item is new then it is no big deal as they all look the same. If it is used with age and worn out spots the seller could be in trouble. Regardless it is on the seller and using a picture already on the net is one of the least things to worry about.
