Ordered an item too big, then returning cause it is too big!

I have had 3 separate returns opened this last week by buyers who intentionally ordered an item they knew was too big for them, and then upon receipt of said item sent a message asking if I had it in size xx versus the one they got. After the Oh I'm sorry but no message from me, the return request was opened. I include measurements so the sizing can be the most accurate as possible. And I am aware not every item fits every body the same. However, can anyone help shed insight into why (for example) people are buying size 5x items when they really need a 2x? I had one person who got added to my special list for repeatedly asking if a Size 6x item would fit her when she normally wears a 1-2x. After advising the measurements I still got the same darn question. Ugh...common sense! Where is it at anymore?

I sell clothing too, and my returns have increased in the last months. I'm running into a new problem with buyers claiming SNAD so they don't have to pay return shipping.

I think that's funny! Stupid tracking cookies was checking us when we aren't watching ourselves.

I am a reader here more than a writer. Guess that's why eBay bestowrd the lovely title next to my name!

Yes, I think Dave has been inundated with little black dresses lately!

Then she put me in a pink dress, and did my nails.

But I like the little black dress.

and French undies

Hey... I found it on ebay.

I have had some of those too. I had one opened cause the sequined items they bought was itchy therefore defective. Or a pair of fashion combat style boots that were defective cause they were too much like real combat boots and not what they considered fashion. I have a special little list they folks go onto after I ding them for return reason abuse.

Proudly, I received my first neg. Buyer sent a message on day 59 asking what my return policy is. I advised my normal 30 day blurb, and immediately got a "I'll never do business again with you scammer" and neg. Look I am all for not liking what you got, but it shouldn't take 59 days to tell me that the intimates you received didn't feel like what you hoped. This person also loves leaving negs for others so  I added her to the BBL and just laughed at how miserable her life must be to take her lack of responsibility out on me and others,

I have debated "no returns" or even a shorter return window but I am not fully sure of what the implications are to me yet.

@kh-ornesh

Just want to thank you for editing that for me.  I was very sure I typed common sense and never noticed that that was not what posted!  It was suggested that auto correct changed that for me, maybe it did.  I never noticed afterward.  Thank you to lookng2015, who noticed it and mentioned it, and sockmonkeydave, who wouldn't go there.  They called my attention to it.

I really appreciate your help with this!  Thank you again!

My SNADs for items not fitting has increased as have returns since I took ebay's promotion of free return shipping.  My rate was 9%....I'm sure it's higher now.

I love the crazy reasons too.  I had a man buy a pair of womens Birkenstocks.  Yes, most Birkis are considered unisex but this model never is and especially not when it has glitter all over it.  He filed a SNAD because they were too FEMININE!  Seriously.  I can't make this up. They were listed as women's and listed as convered in glitter and sparkly.  I should have fought it but didn't.

My last SNAD was for sending the size they ordered.
