Option for Second chance offer not listed in drop down.

I have sold my item but the buyer messaged me about an hour after and said they could not pay for the item.  I looked online and saw that something called Second Chance offer existed but when i followed directions, there is no option listed in the drop down menu.  Does a certain amount of time elapse before I can use it?

No, there is no elapsed time requirement.  SCO's can be used when a seller has a duplicate item, so then it's sent right away.

Members can opt out of receiving SCOs.  If your auction had no bidders who are willing to accept them, then you won't see the option to send one.  The acceptance rate for SCOs is pretty low anyway, so don't feel bad about needing to relist the item.

Did you have any under bidders? You have to have them in order for Second Chance Offer to appear.  Even if you have under bidders they can opt out of receiving SCOs.

@ra738572   Don't bother with the Second Chance offer, I tried it a few times early on and never heard from the Buyers who received the message ... so I stopped trying to use it.  It either never worked right in the first place or the Buyers were not interested any more or were ticked because they didn't win the Auction in the first place ...
