On January 27, 2019, I sold my Moncler vest to a buyer in New York. It was a Sunday, I shipped the item on Tuesday. If I shipped the item, the buyer claimed he put the wrong address. He asked if I could reship the item. What was weird was that the address was 7 numbers ahead of the address, for example, 00000 NY,NY and 00007 NY,NY.
Today, I got an open case from PayPal, what do I do, this was my first time selling on eBay?

Did you ship it to the address provided by eBay?

I assume it has not arrived at it's destination yet?
The buyer is responsible to provide the correct address
You should be able to add the tracking number and have it closed in your favor but a phone call and explanation to PayPal my be necessary.

Have you checked the tracking to see what it says?

From the tracking I suspect the item is on it's way back to you already. As stated upload the tracking number to paypal and call them. IF then item arrives back to you refund the buyer, but not before.
If they really want it they can repurchase with the correct address.

I forgot the mention, the case was open for an Unauthorized Transaction.

OP, whatever you do don't resend or forward the package. Any forwarding of the package voids paypals seller protection coverage for unauthorized use chargebacks.
