So i had an item listed: Hawaiian Host "Island Macs" chocolate covered macadamia nuts. Item number: 192209212184. Start time: June 6, 2017. End time Duration: Good 'till cancelled.
I noticed i haven't sold any in a while so i went to go look at competition and i couldn't find my own listing! It was gone! Ended!
I never ended it or cancelled it. I never received any thing saying the listing was cancelled or ended. If i look at the listing now, it says 15 sold, 26 available. The last one sold 11-29-17. I never noticed it was no longer on my for sale list. So now i have this candy sitting here getting stale while i wonder why nobody is buying any!
Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone have any idea how this could happen?

I'm still looking in to this, but i just discovered i had several listings that were ended on 1-1-18 and 1-2-18 that shouldn't have. Now i'm **bleep** off. If i re-list the items, i don't want to lose the sales history. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

That is odd.
Why not just relist it? Clearly they sell well.
The last revision shown is this:

I'd be on the phone to Ebay tomorrow morning and ask about this.

It's important to keep an eye on actual inventory versus what your computer shows. I have had listings disappear as well and have only discovered it by going through my physical inventory which I do every few months. Worse is sellers who report the opposite happening (sold items being relisted -not by them- and then being sold)

Been there, done that at least 5 times. It gets really tiring having to explain Ebays screw ups to "buyers" .

Another one of my listings dropped. That's 8 total.
So customer service was also puzzled as to why these "'till ended" listings have ended by themselves. They said they would look in to the matter and call me back. They haven't (yet) but it's been several hours.
Should i just re-list them or wait for an explanation? Some of the items had watchers, which i know i've lost. Some of the items had sales history. Will i lose that?
The more i think about it, i could be losing money because of this. Will ebay step up and offer me anything?

Are you sure the GTC listing wasn't at it's 30 days and the system just hasn't relisted it yet?
They do end and relist and sometimes there is a delay in doing so.

It's happened to me a lot over the years but I usually do not notice for a long time since I have so many different items listed.

I've had to deal with both ends.....listings that just go poof and the ones relisted that were already sold months before.

I went ahead and re-listed them all. I can't wait for ebay to give me an explanation. I really do want to know WHY though. I never look at my "unsold items" on "my ebay". I never really needed to. I guess i better start.

There are multiple reasons for why a listing gets removed. It could be a restricted item, or someone made a VERO complaint. Or there is some policy violation. None of those examples seem to be the case here.
But what is happening to you now jogged a memory of a related issue. Ebay has been actively ending older listings, against the seller's wishes and without his input. Here is the thread, from last May:
The jist of that post was that ebay was ending multiple listings, claiming they considered them to be stagnant. But in that situation, it was old listings that hadn't had a sale in at least 2 years.
The problem about relisting an item that has been previously removed is that you're on the bot radar. Without knowing why, will they take it down again and give you a slap of some kind? I don't know, but this concerns all sellers. So sorry it is happening to you. (By any chance, have you checked your spam folder etc. for a communication from ebay? They usually send a message when they take a listing down.) The question i find myself asking-- Is this a glitch, or is it on purpose? I hope you get an answer soon.

2:00 AM in Hawaii. Another listing has ended. Thesee aren't resricted items and some were stagnant listings and some were not. There seems to be no logical pattern ... like oldest listings first or stangnant listings first ... it seems like a random thing.
Now i'm wonerding is i've reached some kind of listing/selling limit? I'm looking in to that now.
In a few more hours customer service should be open and i'll give them a call. I'll be sure to post the outcome.

I got ahold of customer service. It was not a seller limit issue. I was told that those listings were ended due to a lack of "product identifyers". Something i guess they are cracking down on in 2018 beecause all this started on January 1st. I also noticed when i re-listed all of these ended listings it would not let me finalize unless i filled in "ISBN" or "MPN" fields, fields that i never had to fill out before. I'm still not sure what to put there so i just selected "does not apply" and then it would let me re-list.
Customer service said those listings should not have been ended. I should have received some kind of notice or reminder to make these corrections. So they are still looking in to that.
