Can I let a buddy use a one time password to help me list products? My thought is they would need the real password to get to the account info correct?

One time I logged in with a VPN, got the account locked as a result, and I had to call eBay for a week straight, then got locked out of their account restoration questionnaire process which entails you answering several questions about your family members lives... things that happened 20 years ago. All because I started selling on an account that was 10 years old and still had my old number on it, so I couldn't use the phone number to recover the account.
I'm sure it's fine as long as you are prepared, but also take into account you may need to relist all of your items and some of your feedback reviews may disappear which is what happened to me.
Thought about trying to get my girlfriend to log in from her place with my 2FA authentication enabled but just never tried, probably not worth doing.

Thanks for the reply, but I’m kind of lost. I have not been inactive on this account, but very active while using, also how would items dissapear? Thanks

Oh I went off on a little tangent there but basically I was saying be careful because if the website detects two different IPs logging in to the account constantly, your account might get locked for suspicious activity and sometimes it's very difficult to unlock the account with customer service.
And if your account gets locked, all your items get de-listed and gets put into the unsold tool. You also lose some recent feedback reviews.

How much do you trust your buddy?

Close friend now, but that could always change haha. What do you think?

Wouldn't do it for love or money - a fast way to lose your "buddy" or "brother-in-law" or "girl friend" or, or
