Hi All,

Old problem we have all dealt with but still very frustrating. Same Scams that are very hard to win if could win at all. Seem to hit very hard the last 30 days. I have lost 500.00 in 3 Scams. No help from Ebay. Keep hearing need to take care of the Buyers. Well I think most Sellers are Buyers also. Two problems keep showing.

1ST, All three Scamers were 5 or less on Rating. 2 were 0 and one was 3 with no activity in over a year (New one I learned is a Guest account) . Have a lot of sales with 0 Buyers and no problem at all. When it does happen it is always the 0's that get me. I really hate to punish the good new Buyers that are 0. I did not make 500.00 from the 0 Buyers in last month.

2ND, Would a good quality Camera pointed at the Packing table be Helpfull. Would Ebay even pay attention to the vidio or is that a waste of time.

Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

My last 3 Scams were,

1. Wanted return said did not need was not the problem. I accepted and received item back with circuit board burnt, now in trash.

2. Expensive to buy and ship. Last day before 30 said it was defective. I knew the item well and vertually imposible to be defective. Ship back to me was 150.00. Reason why defective was also imposible. If I would have payed to ship back would have lost 150.00 more. Would have destroyed the item or sent old part to me, have already had that happen.

3. still waiting. Said not what ordered. It was what was on the sale, very unique item. I ok the return and asked for shipping size and weight to purchase return label incase they did not have the original box. There deminsions were way off. 12 x 12 x 18 15# to ship. Sent me 10 x 6 x 6 and 5#. I will get something else back if I pay to ship back. So will lose more if I ship back and get a rock which I do not need. I should for the principal of the sale but will lose with Ebay no matter what I get back.

Thanks all for the Help, not sure what I want to do. Really enjoyed Ebay but last few months seems to have changed. Even sales are down and should be our best time of year.

The site is changing for the worse and I fear our niche will in the future no longer exist on here. They are moving towards product catalog listings I'm not sure here but I heard one picture for each item and how that will work for multiple sellers I do not know. As they make more and more changes the stamp market declines each time. I've felt the decline in sales since Trump was elected. The last straw maybe when PayPal is ditched and they manage our payments. My buyers all use PayPal and the instant payments work well. Daily batched processed payments collected by eBay seems like a disaster for the collectibles area.

Your only other option would be to refuse the sale if buyer has no feedback. But then you get dinged for that on your dashboard.

Refusing to sell to a buyer because he has 0 feedback is not an option, it is a fast trek to you losing your seller account
