I'm all of a sudden getting messages from people that I bought stuff from weeks ago, but the messages are appearing as brand new.

Messaged one person confused at first asking if they just sent me a message and they said they did not ... now another one from someone else just popped up.

Anyone else experiencing similar??

Yes, something similar is happening to me as well.

I'm a seller. Since I sell digitally delivered goods (as called by ebay) I need to stay in contact with my buyers to arrange for virtual delivery. The past two hours I get a bunch of messages that seemingly are sent between ~ March 25th - April 6th. I also got notified on April 6th, when I also received an avalanche of past messages, that lots of buyers tried to reach me (as I instruct in my listings) and they never got an answer until then.

So in short: Ebays messaging system seems very weird these days. Lots of buyers to seller (and the other way around) messages didn't go thru between April 1st and April 6th (at least for me that date range applies) and now some random mssages from even earlier seem to find their way thru ...

It seems to me that this may be a bug in the eBay message system. They will fix it as soon as possible.

This issue was mentioned 4/7 on ecommercebytes.

Yes this is a glitch ebay are not saying much about it but several sellers saying they are experiencing similar. If you reply to the message the date seems to change.

YEP! I just signed in and a NEW message was waiting for me from a buyer in March responding to a message I sent to him a few weeks ago and asked if this an error???

I'm getting messages from ebay stating various items are in the mail and on the way. They arrived weeks ago. Just another reason to know the ebay train is off the rails and over the cliff.
