You know how you can get those plastic white bins/boxes and clear bags to hold your packages? Well I get alot of them from my mail carrier or sometimes grab a bunch of them when I drop off at random POs.
From time to time I would find a small package stuck at the bottom of the supposedly empty bag or box. I generally would just throw it back into USPS circulation. But recently I found a package that turned out to be MY PACKAGE that I sent out to a buyer 6 years ago!!!! It never made it to the buyer but accidentally returned to me. Sorry to the buyer... that you never got your iphone case. I can imagine that you've since gotten a newer phone and don't need the case anymore.

Was this in one of the bins you had at your workplace or did you recently grab the bin from the PO?

I was going to ask if OP was sure it wasn't a bin they had sitting at the bottom of a stack for 6 years. It's hard to imagine a package staying stuck to the bottom of a bin for 6 years, or a bin going unused at even the smallest of PO's for 6 years.

It was from a wad of bags my mail carrier just dropped off to me at the end of his route.

That's incredible~what are the odds that you would get a bag that just happened to have a lost package of yours in it!

Or the package really didn't want to leave the OP!
