Let's see if anyone at Ebay reads these threads. Withing the past year I have had a number of people who made offers just before the listing ended. As I was busy doing something else I missed the offer which I would have gladly taken given the dismal sales on Ebay lately. Here is a simple solution that I guess all you MBAs at Ebay are just too busy with buyer's returns and free shipping to figure out. If there is an offer on a fixed price listing and the listing is about to end just don't end the listing until someone responds to the offer. HOW SIMPLE IS THAT? I'm sure I'm not the only one that has had this problem and guess what it would increase sales not that you guys at Ebay are concerned about that and YES I am being sarcastic.

I doubt any eBay MBA's will stop by today....

Perhaps you could try the eBay phone app that notifies when there is an offer presented. Works like a champ. This is provided a smart phone is available as I realize not everyone sports one of those models.

I am sure that would not be abused by sellers? So you are all in favor of sellers adding best offer to all there listings and always leaving a single offer that they never reply to so they can rack up transactions to the listings and the listing never comes down?

eBay has already given sellers a solution. Add in a lowest price you will accept so the auto accept feature can work for you. HOW SIMPLY IS THAT!
