Hello again
Today I recieved an offer for $50 for an item I am selling. The item is listed at $44. The user who made the offer just joined and has no feedback. I am worried that this is some kind of scam. What should I do? Should I accept the offer?
Thanks in advance for the advice.

Yes it’s a scam. Offering more than the asking price is just to trick you into accepting the offer. It also ends the listing and allows the buyer to request your PayPal invoice so he can send you a fake PayPal email saying you have been paid.

Did the buyer add a message? Is the item $44 + shipping and the buyer is (going against the rules and) asking for a total price of $50 including shipping?

@x123computer
Xbox with free shipping and buy it now ?
Ask yourself why would anyone offer more then they can just buy it now with free shipping for?
Don't answer the message and block them .
Chance of it being a scam on this one I would say yes.

Not really a scam just a new user who doesn't understand how best offer is suppose to work. They are seeing it as highest offer is accepted rather than lower offer.... I'd accept the offer and get it headed on down the highway...

In October 2017 someone offered me $33 for a $23 book. I accepted and have not heard back from the buyer.

I had a $20.00 best offer item they offered $35.00. I accepted they paided and were tickled at how cheaply they purchased it for. I never did rain on their parade...

It seems this newbie does not know how Best Offer works.

It sounds fishy ,, I might pass this one by ,, its up to you of course ,, but first ask the buyer a few questions . Tulips
