October 2018 Final value fee promo

So it seems Ebay is having a habit lately of not crediting against my final value fee promos. I've had to call in for the last 3 items that sold under promo to get the credit. I just noticed one of my big ticket items was listed back in October so trying to cover myself and find the promo listing but can't seem to find it. My email doesn't go back any further then Oct 31st.

This item was listed on Oct 20th so it would have been a promo during that time frame. Does anyone have the link to the promo that was going on during this time? It probably would have been 50% off or $10 max. Something along those lines.

I thought I had a way but unfortunately it didn't work. I went to the bottom of  my selling page to "Promotional Offers" and hit the "history" tab, then the "see More Promotional Offers".  Mine only went back to November 8.

Unless you took a screen shot of the activated promo, you're probably out of luck.

ebay coupon promos, FVF proms etc have a habit of vanishing.
Reality is the leading cause of stress.

For those promos to work, the item has to sell during the first listing run. If you listed on 20 October, the promo discount would be good until 20 November. Once the item renews, it's no longer eligible for the promo.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

I have seen a few promos, that if one reads the fine print, that exclusion is NOT included.  Oh sure, most of them state that a renewal isn't covered, but a few I have taken advantage of have allowed GTC without expiration of the promo.   all fwiw.

Correct all mine are Auction style or good till cancelled. So that is irrelevant in this matter. GTC is GTC regardless if it takes a year to sell. The item was still listed during the time frame to qualify.

Interesting!  I don't use GTC, I just assumed those promos were only good for the first run. I know they're not good for relists.
