Did you mean:

Number of watchers

I'm new here.

On some listings I've noticed that the number of watchers is shown. But other times it's not.

Is it like this: You see it if you are a watcher yourself, if you've bid on the item, or if you are the seller? But under no other conditions?

Also, I may be wrong, but it seems like the place on the page where the number of watchers is shown is inconsistent.  ??  Yes? No?

Finally: if I look at my Selling Overview, I see this:

Light Impressions Heavy Duty SlideGuard 20-slide top-loading pages.

106 views, 2 watchers
Listing renews in 12d 4h

However, if I look at the listing itself, I can't find the number of watchers there. Why would that be?

All input will be appreciated.

Number of watchers

eBay fills up the boxes under the Price info with a variety of things "Free Returns", "Experienced Seller", "Watchers", etc. etc. etc.

Obviously they use some sort of algorithm to decide which ones but I doubt anyone knows the details and sellers have zero control over what shows.
