Please check into these issues? They are ongoing on my account and getting worse by the day. Reported them to CS, they said made ticket (first one was last week) and be fixed within 24hrs...well it's a week later and still have issue(s). These are the issues in detail with screenshots and explanations for clarity.
1. This screen shows my profile page. Notice the highlighted Items For Sale count (241), then when I hit the "Items For Sale" link (highlighted with arrow) and go to that (see #2).
2. This is then what shows for item results (the number changes every time on not just these two pages but also on Store...getting to that below).
3. As you can see from this screen on my seller hub - listings page, active listings with quantity entered is 244 items (251 total listings, the 7 other listings currently have no quantity entered - sold out, waiting for new stock to arrive)
4. This item, was out of stock until yesterday I finally got new stock in and entered quantity into the listing - over 24 hrs later this item is not appearing on my items for sale page (even with indexing of 24hrs item should appear on my items for sale, and store 10-15 min after entering quantity into listing, if not sooner). Tonight I then noticed that the listing was removed from my Promoted Listing Campaign (I've since reentered it into the campaign) - is this causing the item to be left out of my items for sale because it wasn't in PL campaign??? (that's absurd i know, but ebay doing really wacky things lately and i don't doubt anything anymore - have to watch everything like hawk these days!)
5. The other issue I reported and had ticket made for is this little weirdness. When I click my name drop down at top left of any ebay page to go to my profile page it instead is sending me to my Ebay Store, this also happens when i'm on my profile page and I click browser refresh, it sends me to my store... and I cannot get back to my profile page no matter how many times I click that link at top upper left to get there.
6. Now another new thing has appeared - on my Items For Sale page, looks like ebay is making changes to items that sold and only have 1 remaining in stock - this started tonight, the left side shows how they are displaying some of my listings with 1 left in stock and the right side is the old way they display it, but these are still like that currently, only some are changed to the left screenshot I show.
7. ALL of this STARTED last week when ebay implemented the newest listing tool and forced everyone into it to use (with no option to opt out). There is also 1 more issue need to mention...tonight when creating new listings, I needed to save one so I could go back in and finish it - i did save it...but what happened? The listing didn't save to my drafts... literally at all, there was nothing saved at all. I had to redo the entire thing from scratch! So yeah, maybe get someone on that among the slew of other issues. Since CS doesn't seem to do anything when I call, they say they made a ticket for tech support but nothing has been done over a week now...maybe you can get tech support to fix these issues (not just for me of course but anyone having them).
Not everyone has the new listing tool yet. It is being rolled out. So your turn may have been last week, but lots of other sellers are still using the old form.

"...but ever since the new listing tool released last week..." This statement by you is what prompted my comment.
When any CSR tells you they are opening a ticket, make sure you get that ticket number before you stop conversing with that person. That will be helpful for when you have to make a call back to check on it.
All the issues you are having isn't likely related to the new listing form. It may be when you started experiencing the problems, but not likely related. The Listing form, as you know is for creating new listings. It has nothing to do with listings you already had posted.
IDK if this is of any help to you, but my # of items on my profile page MATCH my # of items if I go in through SH. I almost never use OOS or MQ & although I am rolled into the new listing tool, I do not use it.
FYI, your Tech Issue is open, I was perusing the issues last night or the night before & I remember seeing it on there.

@simply-the-best-for-you I know what OOS means...MQ? i'm at an empty here - Manage Quantity? maybe?
I can't opt of new listing tool, they made it this time so no one can...nice huh, i do so much want the old back..but what can I do? nothing.
Oh, you can see my ticket? or just mean the issue itself is open as a ongoing issue?
Sorry. OOS is Out of Stock, MQ is Multi Quantity. I know you deal in quantities, so I felt (educated guess) that MQ may be involved in the count discrepancies.
I use Sixbit to list, so I haven't even tried to go back to the old listing tool, as it just doesn't affect me except for the rare times I edit an active listing.
I saw your ticket the other day, but now I'm not finding it. Let me do a little more digging, as I may not be remembering where I saw it.
Unrelated to what you are posting, I'm having a weird glitch now for 3 days, where my Notifications on the Boards are changing constantly, but not legitimately. I'll have 0 or 1, that is correct, but as I move around the boards, esp if I go the the Mentors board, it will say I have 10 Notifications. But I don't. It doesn't really hurt anything but is weird & noticeable b/c the Notifications are in red.

oh duh...yeah lol - i use MQ but only after item sells... I don't make listing with xx (or whatever) quantity, I place one that's it, if sells and I have more at that time I reenter it as 1 available. I do this because I sell other ways + I trade with other distros/labels some things can take long time to sell here so I only do 1 at time. If something sells and have no more after that and the profit is worth it, and can get more, I'll leave the listing until the new stock comes in (that's what I did in the specific one I mentioned).
Yeah, I have that too, i'll get notice that I have 10 or whatever notifications, but I already seen those notifications for the community last time I clicked the bell... keeps happening, idk...everything is wonky.
Thanks for the info that you're seeing the wonky notifications too.
When you say you'll "leave the listing", are you using the OOS? You'll leave it at 0 stock & then add, when you get additional?
If so, this thread may intersest you, but I'm not certain it's the same issue as yours. I did look for the issue you reported, I could have sworn I'd seen it the other day, but I can't find it now, sorry. I will PM you if I come across it again. Here's the thread on the Tech Issues board that *may* be similar to yours, I'm not sure. Sorry I can't be of more help.
