Now things are getting really silly

Decided to muck about in the garden for a while to stop thinking about no sales, no sales, no sales. Came back in and I have an email from eBay warning about selling outside of eBay.

Do you know why??? The BIN auction ended at 30 days and I guess I didn't relist in 10 minutes.  This is getting really silly. Good grief.

Alot of people having been getting this lately.  The bots have become real sensititive to emails that show numbers in it, or other scenarios, thinking you are trying to sell outside ebay.

The OP gave no indication that the warning message was in reponse to any email or ebay message sent or received regarding the item.  

I wonder if ebay sent something similar to viewers or watchers?

There had been no emails whatsoever regarding this pendant necklace...nothing at all. It just finished it's 30 days...lol.

Here's a scary thought...maybe eBay is spying on you (all of us) and saw you out in the garden making a sale...without you paying fees to eBay!  😉

Did or did not do....lol. Thanks Emerald. That made me laugh. Not insincerely, honestly, but it's hard to fight something you might or might have not done. Leaves a broad spectrum there.

I doubt the OP did anything to provoke the bots. Ebay is scrambling at every level and probably tweaked their bot parameters just beyond the acceptable level, into the nether regions realm.  Look, our bots go to 11!

Since ebay feels that your inventory is now their inventory, they are just keeping track of what might be happening to it.

This is beyond ridiculous! Sip they are going to advise good sellers of wrongdoing in order to inspire relisting?

Just curious, did you call eBay? If so, what did they say about it?

The two notices I received resulted in internal policy violations. When I called in I was able to prove my point and so they removed the violations
