Did you mean:

Now things are getting really silly

Decided to muck about in the garden for a while to stop thinking about no sales, no sales, no sales. Came back in and I have an email from eBay warning about selling outside of eBay.

Do you know why??? The BIN auction ended at 30 days and I guess I didn't relist in 10 minutes.  This is getting really silly. Good grief.

Since ebay feels that your inventory is now their inventory, they are just keeping track of what might be happening to it.

Well, then I see no reason why we shouldn't send ebay an invoice for storage ..........

Glad I moved all my lots off ebay usa to ebay uk site I am actually getting sales again, the usa site is hiding your items from viewers somehow. Some I had unsold on usa site for months selling the same day on ebay uk. Suggest try a few items on ebay uk and see if you sell a few. Oh yeh 1500 free BIN listings for shop owners on the uk site to, just make sure you make visible to us and canada under listing upgrade and your set. But you have to sell in pounds.

Looks like a red wasp to me.

Isn't it a brown wasp?  It's true that they will hunt you down if you disturb their nest or nest-building!

OP, what happens if you never relist it?  Because, of course, you can't reslit it because you already sold it off-eBay.  lol eBay has become the crazy aunt.

Not the OP, but maybe they will go to the "maditory" relist like they do  now if you use the short form to sell?  GTC will be the norm until ebay decides your store needs "spring cleaning".

ebay did say in their latest upchuck that they have the right to relist your items if they think they might sell.

I think that ebay might want to cut down on the sellers that list the same item on more than one site.  I was feeling so left out that I didn't get a letter until I realized that if something can get listed on another site - it will not be seen on ebay.

BEWARE, apparently, the Spy Drones are EVERYWHERE!!!

If eBay is so concerned about lost sales - they should start by fixing the software glitches that interfere with searches and bog down the batch editor.

I think it may have to do more with the OP's TOS than the item itself. Although I know what they are trying to say - certain things may be misconstrued by the bots. OP talks about layaways - I don't believe that Ebay allows that.

The OP gave no indication that the warning message was in reponse to any email or ebay message sent or received regarding the item.

I wonder if ebay sent something similar to viewers or watchers?

There had been no emails whatsoever regarding this pendant necklace...nothing at all. It just finished it's 30 days...lol.

Again, my comment also included "other scenarios."  Something in what you did, or did not do, woke up a bot.

It could simply be the same problem eBay has with all it's software. It wasn't programmed right to start with.

An every time you do that, they will keep wondering what you did with the last one, and keep entering it in as missing inventory. After a while your one pendent will become 5 on eBay's books.
