No “Require Immediate Payment” option for “Local Pick-up Only”?

I don’t recall running into this before.  I rarely use Local Pick-up Only in my ads but I have a buyer close-by who wants to buy a large punch bowl, local pick-up.  So when I tried to edit the ad to make the shipping choice “Local Pick-Up” I wasn't given the option to require immediate payment.  Is this because I tried to make it local Pick-up ONLY instead of just adding the option for Local Pick-up or USPS?  Any ideas?

That is correct. I have sold many things for "local pickup only" and yes immediate payment is not allowed as there is not a very limited time to ship the item. Local pickup allows the buyer and seller more time to complete the transaction.

@kath.laynFor Local Pickup sales, I don't mind that they wait to pay until after they have inspected the item. They can pay through ebay on their phone if they decide to take the item, plus several other payment options. Ans as @soundideasfl said, it can take several days for the buyer and seller to agree on a day and time for the pickup.
